West Harvey Street Maintenance

The City of Wellington Street Department plans to begin their 3” mill & overlay project covering 3.5 blocks on
Harvey St. from Jefferson St. west to US 81Highway. Weather permitting, the maintenance will run from July
23rd through July 27th. During the project two way traffic will remain open. In order for this to happen we are
asking citizens to please not park on the street during the street maintenance process. The hot mix asphalt needs
time to cool, if you park on it to soon you may leave tire marks in the asphalt. Crews will be working on the
streets from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. For more information, please contact the Street Department at 326-7831.
