"B" Street Project Begins June 6th

The City of Wellington Street Department plans to begin their 2” mill & overlay project. The maintenance will run from June 6th through June 23^rd, weather permitting, and will cover 9 blocks on B St. from 15^th to Harvey.  “We are asking citizens to please not park on the street during the street maintenance process”. The hot mix asphalt needs time to cure, if you park on it too soon you may leave tire marks in the asphalt.  Please wait until after the 23^rd before parking on B St.  Crews will be working on the streets from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact the Street Department at 326-7831.
