Situated in  the serene plains of South-Central Kansas, Wellington is a hub for travelers of three major highways. The Kansas Turnpike (I-35), US-81, and US-160 all pass within or near our borders. The city offers many attractions and recreational locations for all interests.

South Ash Utility Construction

Intersection of Mill & Ash to be closed Tuesday - June 1, 2010 for Hargis Pipelines Sewer Project.

Mill Street should be reopened by Wednesday - June 2. Ash Street North of Mill, however, will be closed on a block by block basis as the sewer line construction progresses north.

Widening of East US-160 Highway
