Police

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Wellington Police Department Online, where you can find out what the Police Department is doing to make this community a better place to live. Wellington is an exciting town with an awesome community spirit, down-to-earth values, and a great place to raise a family.

At the Wellington Police Department our mission is to improve the quality of life, maintaining order, and reducing crime through education, awareness and prevention. To us, providing Police service is more than just writing a ticket or taking a report; it means working with the community to prevent crime and solve community problems. The cooperative working relationship between police officers and the people we serve is improving every day, and citizen confidence in the Police Department is the highest it has ever been.

In cooperation with the citizens, the men and women of the Wellington Police Department are committed to the Department’s motto: “An uncompromising commitment to public service excellence.”

Please take a few minutes to learn more about WPD’s programs and services.
