With severe weather forecasted and the season approaching we continue to advise everyone to pay attention to warnings from phones and television stations as primary alerts. Outdoor sirens are sounded as an outdoor warning and should not be your primary source of incoming weather.
The city has contacted Wellington Health and Rehab at 1600 W. 8th and they continue to be the public shelter for the city. You can access the building in the
West parking lot behind the building. Enter the door marked as Tornado Shelter.
