Power Outage: Harvey & Lincoln from Ash to Woodlawn

The City has had to initiate a power outage due to an immediate repair need. It will effect Harvey & Lincoln from Ash to Woodlawn. The outage is expected to last approximately one hour.

Power across the city is in the process of being re-energized to all areas by using the secondary substation. The problem has been determined to be at the main substation and crews are still assessing the problem.

Update: Power Outage

The power outage this morning was due to an issue at the main substation at the power plant. Staff have found the potential problem area and are assessing further to pinpoint the exact cause. The outage began at 6:42 a.m. and affected most of the city other than areas in the northeast portion and eastern corridor. Restoration of power to the affected areas began at approximately 8:00 a.m. using the secondary substation.
